In

corner
of
stall,
push

for
an
accurate
measurement.
Measure
from
floor
upwards
30”
-
32”
mark
stall
with
pencil.

|

|
| Step 3. Now, measure to the left or right (preference) 4” - 6” and again mark stall with pencil. The intersection of these two measurements is your center eye screw location. |
|
|
 |
| Step 4. Now drill a pilot hole (a pre-drilled hole to prevent wood from splintering and to ease the installation off said hardware) with and 1/8”-3/16”drill bit. Install eye screw and attach spring clip from eye bolt to eye screw. |
|
|
 |
| Step 5. For the left and right eye screw locations measure up from floor 28” - 30” (about 2” lower than middle eye screw) mark stall with pencil. Now measure from the corner to the left and right 22” - 24” and mark stall with pencil. The intersections of these two marks are your left and right eye screw mounting locations. |
|
|
 |
Step 6. Drill your pilot holes for those second two eye screws. Install both left and right eye screws. Connect your spring clips and your PRE-VENT® Feeder is now ready to use! |

Notice that
the front of
the PRE-VENT®
Feeder is
slightly
tilted
forward.
This is on
purpose as
it allows
the horse’s
large head
and rounded
jaw more
access to
his favorite
stuff…food!! |

Here is a properly attached feeder in a stall. |
 |
The PRE-VENT® Feeder is meant to attach in the corner of a stall, which is the part of the stall the horse typically doesn’t use. You can replace your corner feeder with the PRE-VENT® Feeder…it takes up about the same amount of space.
Feed your horse the healthy way…the PRE-VENT® way! |
